Advanced Studies (Click Here to view this page in Spanish)

After receiving the Diploma of Basic Theology, graduates are encouraged to continue their studies at a more advanced level. Specifically, graduates may enter in Level 2 (seminary level) of the Center for Hispanic Studies at Concordia Seminary. Level 2 represents the academic qualifications necessary to be ordained as a Lutheran pastor or to become a rostered deaconess at the national level, in the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod in the United States.

The Missionary Institute is working with the Center for Hispanic Studies to investigate the future possibility of offering the Level 2 courses in El Paso or via the internet.
