The Lutheran Hispanic Missionary Institute (LHMI) is a nonprofit corporation formed in the State of Texas. LHMI has received its Charitable tax exempt status from the Internal Revenue Service under Section 501(c)(3). LHMI is also a Recognized Service Organization (RSO) within the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (LCMS). The Board of Directors for LHMI is approved by the Board of Directors for the Rocky Mountain District of the LCMS. The Lutheran Hispanic Missionary Institute annually files the Internal Revenue Service Form 990 which discloses both its financial operations, ministry services, and fundraising activities.
In keeping with the Internal Revenue Service Code, interested parties may review all official Mission Documents in person at the LHMI Office located in El Paso, Texas. Please call to inquire about current office hours.
